Please help Otakon welcome Ricco Fajardo, Tiana Camacho,  and Steve Blum.

Ricco Fajardo is an actor best known for his work in anime and video games (Mirio in My Hero Academia, Taiju in Dr. STONE, Nozel in Black Clover, Kotaro in Zombieland Saga, Genkins in Red vs Blue, God in The Cyanide & Happiness Show, Achilles in Smite, and Corvus in Paladins.) Recently, you can also see him on-screen in Hulu’s “Cruel Summer” and CW’s “Walker.” He studied acting and received his MFA from SMU (pony up!) and BA from UC Irvine (zot, zot!) He spends his free time practicing parkour in Dallas, TX- alongside his chonk cats Rocky, Ollie and Belle.

Tiana Camacho is a voice actress based in Los Angeles known for her work in video games and anime. Her most notable anime dubbing roles are Ermes Costello in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, Bea in Pokémon Journeys, and Yawaragi in Yashahime. She has also worked on games like Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Cookie Run Kingdom. Tiana likes dogs, food, educating folks about stem cell donation, and cool candles.

Steve Blum’s unmistakable deep, raspy, yet sometimes silky smooth voice has landed him a career full of incredible, iconic characters. He’s been the Voice of T.O.M. the robotic Promo host from Toonami (on Adult Swim) since 2000, and a pro Voice Actor for over 30 years. Best known as Spike from Cowboy Bebop, Zeb from Star Wars Rebels, Wolverine from X-Men Cartoons & Games, Starscream from Transformers Prime, Tank Dempsey from Call of Duty, Grunt from Mass Effect, Subzero and others from Mortal Kombat X and 11, Amon from Avatar: The Legend of Korra, Shoe and Sparky from the Boxtrolls feature film and thousands of other beloved characters from shows, games, commercials and movies like Bumblebee, Solo, Rogue One, Incredibles 2 and Shazam. His huge vocal range has made him one of the most sought after voice actors on the planet. He even holds the current Guinness World Record for most voices in video games and has since 2012! Steve also teaches online Voiceover classes through his company Blumvoxstudios.com.

Please Welcome AleXa to Otakon 2022

You asked and we listened, we are happy to announce that K-pop is here at Otakon. You just saw AleXa perform during the American Song Contest now come see her in person at Otakon 2022.

AleXa  (알렉사) is an award-winning K-pop singer-songwriter and dancer whose rise to fame began with an online talent competition, Rising Legends, where she received more than 1 million votes. After signing with Korean artist agency ZB Label, AleXA went on to feature in “PRODUCE 48”, the most competitive audition show in Korea.

Please Welcome Lai Frances for Otakon 2022

Lai Frances is a multimedia journalist and producer that focuses on music, pop culture and entertainment. She is currently a Social Media Producer at CNET by day and a Contributing Writer/Host by night talking about music and K-pop. You can find some of her bylines on MTV News, Teen Vogue, PopCrush, tmrw, and Glamour while being a host for KCON and NME. She was first exposed to K-pop in the early 2000s and didn't really dive deep into the culture until the later half of the '00s where she started off blogging about it which eventually led to where she is now. To date, Lai has written special features on K-pop acts such as TWICE, aespa, ITZY, Stray Kids, Sunmi, Tiffany Young while writing cover stories featuring ATEEZ, Jackson Wang and more.
